The past few weeks we watched our fellow classmates present their lessons plan. Each lesson had a pre-telling, teaching, and post-teaching lesson. Some were very creative while others lacked some essential elements.
This story was about crayons that wrote a letter to a little boy. They each read the letter of their color and it was really good!
This group was a bit different and focused on more than just vocabulary but sentence structure. It was nice to see something different! It encourages the students to think a little bit harder instead of just only using traditional vocabulary lessons.
While telling the story it's important to do more than just read from a book! You have to get the students to interact with the characters such as when the wolf had the students help him blow the house down. It keeps the children interested and willing to participate!
